Leg one
It's started.
For me anyway - Barbara & I left NZ a little earlier than the others to get a bit of R&R enroute.
Currently on Waikiki Beach getting better wx than you all. Did the Pearl Harbour touristy thing today & the highlight was seeing the HMNZS Canterbury alongside. Not the prettiest ship in the world but the crew looked mighty proud.

Postscript - I was lying on Waikiki Beach this afternoon when I heard "Hello Brett" beside me. Turned out to be Adam Priest - ex Tauranga Gliding Club tuggie. In fact I think Adam began aviation at the TGC. He is now in command of a Q400 in PNG.
